Embroidered Bandana

Embroidery is easy to learn, satisfying to work on and you end up with a cute finished product.  It fits in a purse and needs very few supplies so it’s a perfect on-the-go craft.

You’ll begin the class by selecting a small embroidery design that you want to work with from a selection of Sublime Stitching patterns.  We’ll then learn and practice 3-4 basic stitches that you’ll need to for your project and you’ll work the rest of the time on your embroidery.  When you leave, you’ll have a cute finished piece or, if you need more time to finish, we’ll send you home with all of the supplies you’ll need to complete it.

About the Instructor

Amy Brown is designer, fiber artist and owner of Jumbo Jibbles, a local business making giant stuffed fruit and vegetable pillows. She appreciates the laid-back pace of embroidery, and the fact that you can't smear a stitch or stain a carpet with thread. Hundreds of children and adults in the Bay Area can confidently sew after her classes. She enjoys pineapple on her pizza.
